About Next Step
We’ve all had those moments. You know the ones — where your brain feels full, everything feels heavy, and you don’t know what to do next. Not in a crisis way, but in a stuck way.
Next Step was built for exactly those moments. It’s not therapy, not a meditation app, and definitely not a to-do list. It’s a quick check-in that meets you where you are and suggests one small, practical thing you can do right now.
That’s it. One step. Because sometimes one step is all you need to shift the moment.
What we believe
Small steps matter
You don't need a morning routine or a 30-day challenge. One small action, taken when it counts, can change the direction of your whole day.
Showing up is enough
We never guilt you for skipping a step or not logging in. There are no streaks here. If you open the app once a month, that still counts.
Your mind is private
We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal data. Everything stays on your device. We couldn't look at your data even if we wanted to — we don't have it.
Practical over perfect
Every exercise in Next Step is rooted in real techniques — CBT, mindfulness, grounding, breathwork — but presented without the jargon. Just clear, simple guidance.
The story behind it
Next Step started as a simple question: what if there was something that could help in those stuck moments — not by diagnosing or analysing, but just by offering one concrete thing to try?
Most wellbeing apps are built around building habits. That’s great if you have the energy for habits. But when you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or anxious, the last thing you need is another thing you’re supposed to do every day.
Next Step is the opposite. No streaks. No guilt. No complicated onboarding. Just a 2-minute check-in, one matched step, and the freedom to take it or leave it.
